posting a disclaimer (also think they were only allowed to post one time) from reading new policies it seems none of that is required any longer. However, I think if someone were to attempt an effort, checking in with them would be a good idea. If for no other reason than the inevitable alerts that things like that can generate.

another option if for people to PM offers of help directly.
