(3,597 posts)the first 2 episodes were disappointing for me. I was worried. Then last week it got good again, and this week...WOW! This was Walking Dead at its best. It was memorable. I love it when they get into the philosophical ramifications of a world turned upside down and inside out.
Also, given the presence of Father Gabriel, Maggie's background, Carol's transformation, and Rick's infant daughter (forget her name), I think they need to, at some point, get a little into God, religion, meaning and purpose in a destroyed world. I mean, they must talk about this stuff around the campfire. Do they ever bring more children into a world with no civilization? If yes, why. Where is the evidence they could have a halfway enjoyable life? Other than not getting killed, what do these people daydream about?
And Lennie James is such a great addition. I first saw him in the short-lived Low Winter Sun. He's such a good actor and he brings his A game every single time. Every scene he's in is riveting.
