39. Well things could be better here:

I turned 61 a couple of days ago and like anyone else my age I have my share of things to complain about!

In reverse order:

I am no longer believing folks who tell me that those just "smile lines" I see on my face when I look in the mirror.

The Seahawks, (my favorite football team), could have a better win/loss record than they currently have.

Hair should not be growing out of my ears like that!

Bernie Sanders, (my choice for politician best suited to save the world from out of control capitalism), could be getting better 'air-time' in the media.

MrsHoneychurch could be posting here at DU more often!

Other than that things are going pretty well. I am now receiving a federal pension. I spend my time tinkering around on a nice little bit of property but I confess to spending far too much of that time playing video games and eating out at restaurants.

I've purchased a digital Nikon, (a D7100 I think) and a couple of lenses. Once I get the hang of how it works I'll post a few photos of my neighborhood. It's quite scenic actually so I look forward to sharing here at DU.

I am pleased for you that you have found a fellow to share your life, (and your yummy cooking) with. I hope things are well with you and yours over on your side of the ocean too. I'd say more but as I type this my Seahawks are about to take the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers and without my help rooting for them they may wind up getting beat!
