(7,477 posts)69. I would guess there were, but none really stand out other
than Colonel Parker(manager of Elvis). He was extremely difficult to work with. Each time they were here, Colonel Parker would come into town two or three days before the concert and we would go over everything possible thing he could think of...and more. I know he was concerned about the nuts who might hurt Elvis, but he was almost over the top.
Most of the people we drove were here to have fun and put on a good show. Managers of the groups were normally the ones who could be difficult, but if you knew what you were doing(or at least pretended to), everything went fine.
