He died last year at 65.
I think "Walk Away Renee" was their first record, and it went to # 5 on Billboard.
They disbanded in 1969, reformed in 2011, & again in 2015 with original singer Steve Martin Caro.
As far as I could find out, they have apparently disbanded again...this time probably for good.
