1. Last week a flock of pigeons flew right next to me for a mile on the freeway

I was driving along at a good 75 miles an hour which isn't odd on I-80 going from the maze towards the Berkeley exit driving by the SF Bay. What was odd was that my car was the only one for quite a distance in front and behind me. The flock came from the Bay and I thought it was simply crossing the freeway to get to the marsh on the other side. But instead they flew parallel to me over the lane next to mine. They were at eye level and flew with me for almost a mile.

It was so cool! I've never seen anything like it. And now I know they can fly 75 miles an hour too.
