9. I was swarmed by flying spiders

One warm spring day went on a little trip with some friends up Redwood Creek in Humboldt County California. After hiking a bit we decided to lie down in the grass beside the stream and let the sun's rays wash over us. Shortly thereafter I began to notice tiny spiders on silken parachutes floating along the breeze. Some landed on us and proceeded to crawl about. It was surreal. Strange still given that we were all tripping balls on psilocybin. There were many more amazing events that day, but the spiders were most memorable.
