STA WAS: Episode one, the Empire that Almost was... No one landed on Tatooine Station and there for Luke Skywalker ended up dusting crops and going to Medical School. Because of this small event, Senator palpatine never became Emperor nor had any reason to wish to. Instead he be came a galactic insurance salesman until he retired a very old age. The Jedi were never needed nor were the Sith...the universe just kept chugging on, a long, long time ago and far, far away. In the meantime, in the galaxy next door, J.J Abrams became evil and ruined STAR TREK.
