25. The ingredients for Miracle Whip and mayo are basically the same

Vegetable oil, water, eggs, sugar, and vinegar are the main ingredients for both (in different proportions). I'm not sure why anyone would have an aversion to one and like the other. I like them both for different things.

Miracle whip contains much less oil and eggs, so the calories are about half. Since Miracle Whip has less oil and eggs, they use cornstarch as a thickening agent to match the consistency and texture of mayo, so it can be used as a substitute. That's the biggest difference.

For whatever reason they have decided to market themselves to younger people lately. Gotta capture the next generation I suppose.
