The Silver City, New Mexico Blues Fesival is this weekend. With Taj Majal [View all]
If you've never been to Silver City, I can attest that it is a delightful little town. Home to Western New Mexico U.,
a small creek running through town. Great bars. It's also the gateway to the Gila Wilderness, the largest wilderness
area in the lower US. Trees, lakes, Gila river and the fabulous Gila Cliff dwellings. I have camped there a few times.
Many hot springs right next to ice cold streams.
