Muscle cars are good in a straight line. Sports cars can turn right (and do it quickly). A decent Porsche 911S would eat the Cobra for lunch at Watkins Glenn or Laguna Seca. Hell, a 1958 Porsche 550 RSK Spyder probably would have left the Cobra in the dust on a course where turns were involved. THAT'S a sports car!

You wish. The 427 SC has well over 500 horsepower - today's "vintage" 289's are well over 400.

To me, they're all "fixer uppers" I can't think of 1 that is the whole package.
