She was an important part of the Women's History class that I took. As was your avatar Harriet Tubman. It was in this class that I learned that Harriet Tubman was not only a heroine leading slaves to freedom, but also a bonafide spy for the Union during the Civil War. She quite brazenly would walk right into the tents of the Southern Officers' meetings by passing out drinks to them while they talked about their plans. She was 'invisible' to them.

There were so many more women covered. All of them quite important in our history.
