15. Help me if you can ...

There was a sit-com on CBS about 1990 or 1991, Mondays, I think. It lasted maybe four weeks and was not very good. After the cancellation was announced they played one final episode which, IMHO was one of the funniest shows ever on TeeVee.

The plot centered about one of the lesser characters who (as a standing joke) couldn't keep a job and always found some way to screw things up. She lands a job as a personal assistant to a professional athlete and suddenly everything clicks. She's totally professional.

Anyway, she comes to work one day and the athlete tells her that she has only two errands to do that day, take the car to get it fixed and wash the dog. Anyway, she gets confused and washes the car and gets the purebred, rare dog fixed. The follow up was priceless!

Can anyone remember that show? THX.
