2. My dad passed away almost one year prior to the day

March 25, 1996. He was an ordained minister in the UUA church, a licensed electrician, a radio repairman, and dozens of other things. He always said his most important job was being a dad. He died of pancreatic cancer about 5 months after he was diagnosed. When I close my eyes, I can see him working out in his wood shop, puffing on his favorite briar pipe and I can still smell his pipe tobacco.
