As supervisor I liked to have the place clean but if it wasn't attracting bugs or rodents a lot of times I would leave stuff because I didn't want people thinking they could just leave a mess and I would get it.

There was one time when someone stuck a pop can in the freezer to rapidly cool it down then forgot it was in there. So as a result after some time the pop can exploded and left a pile of ice in the freezer. I left it sit hoping the responsible party would clean it up. No dice. The day my Grandpa died I was at work and I got tired of looking at the icy mess. I had a fair deal of idle time that day and really needed something to do so I went and cleaned the whole fridge, including the icy mess in the freezer. I sent a message to the entire floor (minus my supervisor) saying that I cleaned out exploded pop can and to please not put pop cans in the fridge.
