San Pedro, California early fall sunset [View all]

We've been having an early fall heat wave (day 5 or 6 today) in southern California. But it has been dry, which makes it more livable —for me anyway, because I hate the heat.
The weather has left us some beautiful sunsets, though.
This photo was taken on a hill just next to Point Fermin Lighthouse. Where the palm trees are is a great street for walking your dog or running; it runs along the cliffs of the ocean. In the distance, jetting out, is part of Palos Verdes. I don't want to ruin the picture, but that's around where Trump's golf course is. But the golf course allows you to walk through to the ocean, and walk on the cliffs that surround the course. I imagine Trump hated that he had to allow average citizens to walk through his golf course.
