They make great candle holders. Drop glass stone on the bottom and add a votive candle.

Just do a search for "uses for mason jars" and you'll come up with a lot of ideas. I won't post the links here, because all the websites I came across were full of adverts that slowed the process.

The one idea that I thought was cool was popping holes in the top to string wire through them to make string lighting.
