At least now they know it's a bacterial infection.

When I was in my 40s they just put you on a crappy diet and no booze. Antibiotics really nail it now.

I managed to get rid of one by taking 4 tsp of metamucil morning and evening. In hindsight, what I was doing was providing an environment great for "good" bacteria with the fiber. Eventually they crowded out the bad bacteria and infection.
