I just saw the unfinished Metropolitan Opera House in the background in one of the shots. Filmed in NYC in the mid 60's, this movie is worth watching for that alone.

Every time I see the magnificent Jason Robards, the similarity to Bogie strikes me. I wonder if that was one of the reasons Lauren Bacall married him.
