(114,867 posts)83. Louie Bellson. Glad you put Aynsley on there. Most aren't familiar with him, yet,
he really is one the most well-rounded and most musical drummers of the rock era.
He told me that when he was 15 he was playing with a jazz group and the guys would leave the stage during drum solos to go get drinks, and sometimes left him up there playing alone for 20-30 minutes at a time so he had to learn how to entertain crowds just with his drum playing.
