Speaking of geezers (as one does), what's the skinny on "acryllic resin" for partials? [View all]

In my life long banging my head on brick walls, the one denominator appears to be: I need to get to the bottom of things. On any topic that pops for me for who-knows-what reason.

So. There are these dental "partials". We'll reserve confidentiality about names, persons, whatever. So this confidential name uses a fizzing tablet every single night. Also, never uses them for more than cosmetic purposes, not for eating.

Anyway, one (and no need to breach confidentiality) wonders why some kind of white/plaque? build up has built up.

As a service to (whomever) I Googled "partials cleansing"/whatever and discovered that these things are made of "acrylic resin" and besides the fizzy tablet need to be brushed with a soft toothbrush, at this early stage of research, with dishwashing soap, hydrogen peroxide, CALGON!1, or who knows what else. Nothing harsher like toothpaste.

So before my final report to (whomever), I'm flummoxed about "acrylic resin" and what other things might be done, such as some kind of lubricant (mineral oil?).

Next thing I'm flummoxed about is whether I really ought to delete this post.
