(27,830 posts)17. AND, he was in his late 60's when they made that diagnosis!
Dad went to several places, including the University of Michigan Hospital. When we finally got him to a competent neurosurgeon, recommended by my Mom's family practice doc, the neurosurgeon immediately could see what was going on, but it was too late to do anything.
When he gave us the actual diagnosis, I went ballistic. He was very understanding.
I wanted to sue, but Mom wouldn't do it.
