Emergencies. I loved & respected that man, but if a mammo Radiologist is on an airplane as the only DO/MD, and there is a caradic care RN, that RN is the go to expert for an acute emergency. For one flight, Dr L, was flying from Columbus to LA to Australia, and a passenger got acutely nauseated. The plane he was on, did an med emergency landing in Omaha, logically that was the right thing to do, but, everyone got to LA really late. I flat out told him if I saw him on a flight, I was getting off. I miss working for him.
