My hard headed father and 365 cars [View all]

My 96 year old father had the flu this last week. I begged him to rest and stay hydrated. Of course he does not take my advice. He goes grocery shopping where his leg gives out in the store and he can't get up. Instead of taking an ambulance from there he has the store workers stick him in one of those store electric chairs and wheel him out to his car and help him in. He drives home to his house in the country that is off a highway with groceries. Again he drops near his front porch and can't get up. He said he lie there for over 2 hours and counted 365 cars drive by as he waved at all of them for help. He doesn't know if they saw him or not. Finally a nice guy stops and calls an ambulance and my sister who was at work. They take my dad to the hospital where he is now.
I call my daughter to tell her about it and she says " Oh my God why didn't he call the ambulance from the store?" I told her it's because he's one hard headed old guy that hates to go to hospitals. She says " Well it looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it Mom?" Brat LOL. My dad likes to say " We're in a Trump slump"
