Here's basically what they are saying:

While we do not have a set date, we have estimated that we could resume shipping Excedrin® as soon as mid-year. We are working diligently to get Excedrin® back onto store shelves and are committed to keeping loyal Excedrin® fans informed of the progress we are making.

Novartis Consumer Health appreciates the patience of our loyal consumers throughout this process, and apologizes for any inconvenience this voluntary recall may have caused.



Try the Safeway generic if you have them near you. It really does work identically for me. It is possible some of the formulations you've tried were not formulated to be absorbed the same as excedrin and that alone might explain your own experience with them not working. I've noted the price on the generics has gone way up since Excedrin has been pulled. That alone is reason for me to be anxious for its return.
