Pictures are now being collected for the memorial, so that's something to do. I'm still in total shock. An unexpected death of a young, healthy, happy, wonderful person is shocking enough, but for it to have been so violent and so public - just something that plays on all our worst nightmares. Even people who didn't know her are in shock.

My cat has a chronic illness and he's almost 15 years old now so it's getting worse. It's getting to the point where I wonder if it's time to put him down. I think he must be suffering. then he has a bunch of really good days in a row and I think, I'm glad we didn't put him down last week. My son (7) loves him so much.
