In reply to the discussion: In your opinion, the most overrated actor//actress of all time? [View all]Zoonart
(14,106 posts)187. I know, right?
That is exactly how I reacted. My friend did not clue me in and totally introduced me cold. I step out on a deck an we approached him from behind.
She says to me, " I want you to meet my Uncle Vinnie."
So I' m..."okay".
Then he turns and I'm like...holy shit...."Mr. Price, I'm a real fan." He covered my hand with his long hands and said," call me Uncle Vinnie." Inside I was all jello squeeeeee.
I tried not to make a complete ass of myself, but he was really sweet and totally put me at ease. Actually, I'm a painter and he was a great collector of American art, so we talked about art.
It was one of the most surreally transcendent moments of my life and I love to tell the story. Thanks for letting me tell it.

I thought he was pretty good in "88 Minutes" (2007), despite the film's lousy plot,

Nothing against him personally but I'll toss a vote in for George Clooney.
