Most of my cats came to me as older cats--except the children of pregnant mothers who managed to stay. It's a good thing kittens are cute, because they're just little hyperactive destruction machines. And older cats are better with children...no end to their goodness. And they're so grateful to be back in a home again, after they've lost one.
