4. Believe it or not, this is a component of fascism, one that is often understated in analysis.

Fascism is xenophobia, it's organized racism, sexism, bigotry, hyper-nationalism, warmongering, etc.

Another part of fascism is creating this perception that the youth are lacking focus and direction, that they are a destructive force (But this destruction can be refocused into destroying the 'other'), and it's often the fault of their parents.

It's kind of why the Nazis had the Hitler Youth, the Nazis and Hitler had to pick up some of the perceived laxity of the youth in Germany and provide the discipline and connection that they accused the country's parents of failing to deliver.

There's nothing wrong with getting a chuckle out of this fear, but it's time to consider just how chilling this really can be. So let's keep highlighting it, not agreeing with it just because it sounds edgy, and calling it out.
