51. When I was younger (40+ years ago), I was a connoisseur of commercials on TV.

Loved even the banal ones. Would speak along with the scripts, I knew them that well. Any jingo. Any product, any service. In HS, I looked forward to the screening of the CLIO Awards, for the best written, best directed, best produced commercials for the year before. AND they showed INTERNATIONAL commercials, and they were even better than American commercials.

Now I hate commercials. No charm, no imagination, no humor, no irony. Bring back the MAD Men!

I hate them on TV and before a movie.
