(132,381 posts)51. I visited a relative of a relative's ranch when I was a teen. One direction and
you see the city of Calgary. The other direction and there is the wall of mountains known as the Rockies going in both directions into the horizon. First time I over saw the Rockies. I had only ever seen the Smokie mountains up to that point in my life. I then worked the the Rockies for a summer. Gorgeous.
