The MV was the album out when I got into Rush. It just played out too fast. Too much radio time.
Knowing that YYZ and Tom Sawyer were the last songs, I could always leave the concert a few mins early and not get stuck in the parking lot!
If you want greater sound, go for the gain. The signal will travel through several (pre-)amps before the speakers. The louder you can get it for that first preamp, the more full the sound will be as it travels down the rest of the path.
Oh, and I was in band where I was the singer, and they made me do Limelight. (There's two notes I can't hit.) I have a lot of resentment toward MV!
