The music, the messages, the actors, the choreography, the advanced cartoons, Dick Van Dyke in two roles.

Went to see it again in 1981 and was awed. Wept when they showed the Bird Lady, when Michael selflessly gave his father the Tuppence and asked if that made everything all right, and the end when they were all flying kites.

This movie kills me every time I watch it, like The Wizard of Oz.
