I'm often saddened that there is a misconception about libertarianism, which itself originally, was (and is) a left-wing ideology. The original libertarians were squarely in the left-wing camp. I am a left-libertarian, a socialist in the anarchist tradition.

That said, this essay looks interesting, so I'm off to read and will hopefully comment later.
