5. I have a couple of initial impressions about this.......

Number 1): This gives credence to the old V.I. Lenin aphorism about capitalists selling you the rope you use to hang them. When profit is king, even ideology takes a back seat. Most of the time anyway. Plus, I THINK that this was during the time of the Hitler/Stalin "non-aggression" pact, so even a fascist like old man Koch could "work with" Stalin as long as he made money doing it.

Number 2): This also just shows how long the owners have been trying to get rid of the reforms of capitalism instituted by the FDR wave during the last big crisis of capitalism in the 30s. BTW, that wave was fueled by the militant anti-capitalism of communists and socialists and unionists. The 30s threatened the entire system and the only thing that staved off revolution that would have brought the whole thing down, were those reforms. But as I've often said, the owners began to undermine the reforms from the day they were instituted and Fred Koch was one of the leading underminers. (Is that a word?
