The two guys were opposites politically, and finally agreed to just not discuss it.

They were different times when you could have friends with whom you disagreed.

The left has always been correct about most things, but in the past you may have argued your point, but things were still cool.

It was nothing like today. Jimmy Stewart was nothing like these guys these days, and people like John McCain know that, but they have been willing to go down the extreme road rather than a principled one, like it once was.

Vietnam was wrong, and we were right, but I would take Stewart over Bannon or any of these freaks today.
