row left after the yo K2tog. I feel fairly comfortable unknitting now - I think I have almost done as much unknitting as knitting.

I think I can decide for myself which is the rs or ws because the garter stitch looks pretty much the same on both sides.

One person noted that if I use the long tail cast on which I did, the tail will be on the right side when I am on the right side. Someone else said the odd rows are always RS and another even rows are RS. So if my new attempt doesn't work I will wait until class to move forward.
