Sore Ears from Mask Elastic?

7. Instead of elastic, I have been making tie masks using cut up t-shirts. Who doesn't

have a few t-shirts that they don't want or can't wear. I got the idea from a youtube video. If you lay the t-shirt out flat and cut 1" strips across the body of the shirt, when you cut apart and stretch them out, they make long, soft ties that don't fray and they tie much better than grossgrain ribbon or the clothesline cord I had been using.
