4. When I signed up for the ACA my deductible was $3,000 per year + 20% co-pay

The premium was cheap...but!!!!

Then when I signed off...the cost of the same exact plan sans ACA was over $800 per month!!!! Plus the deductible and co-pays!!!

So the Insurance company was billing the Gvt the difference between my paltry monthly premium and $800+ PER MONTH
