I grew up with a brother who was already into punk, before my time. I was just 10 and he was already introducing me to stuff you never heard on the radio unless it was college radio. At first I repelled from the strange sounds... strange compared to mainstream music, less "refined". But man, I was bit by the bug, and ever since then, I have been going back in time in my head, revisiting opportunities to see great bands at the Channel, which I missed out on.
