I was 3 when the Can't Buy a Thrill album came out, and there was no way I had all the words back then to describe just why hearing "Reelin' in the Years" and "Do it Again" made my spine tingle as a toddler going on pre-kindergartner, but there it just...was! And that continued on all the way through the "Hey Nineteen" and "Time out of Mind" days.

Music was one of very few positives that I could count on during my formative years, and Steely Dan were a huge part of that. I only wish I could thank them personally.
