My SO at the time was a newspaper reporter who had the "story of her life" break on the day of the concert (it really was a great story, so I was, and have been, cool with it). Hence, I have an unbroken R.E.M. ticket...

On edit, I totally forgot about my unbroken Cure ticket from the Wish tour, 1990! Oddly enough, that was when I was with my ex-wife, another newspaper reporter (yeah, apparently that was a *thing* with me back then ). She had a big story break that day that she had to cover, so I traveled from Peoria to Chicago by myself to see The Cure...
