Sweet music.....sounds like the 70's when Linda Ronstadt was singing with the Eagles or Emmy Lou Harris when she was playing with Gram Parsons....sorta in that sweet spot.

But you ask a good question. Who defines country? The folks in Nashville that are vested in a particular musical sound/idea? Or this young lady who has the same musical chops as the aforementioned....and they sang country to me.

Don't mean to single out Country....I think there are curators for every genre that want to corral the folks that they promote to define the sound in their genre. But there are always people that don't fit....I think I've always been attracted to those that can't easily be pigeon holed.
