First, let me say I really liked the stuff Santana did with Alex Ligertwood singing. He reminds me of Steve Winwood some.
Anyway, I looked this song up on Wikipedia to see who wrote it. A Canadian guy wrote & recorded it in '81, so this is a cover.
Anyway, the wiki write up classifies its genre as "Yacht Rock"! I had never seen that term before.
Yacht Rock.
