He didn't stay with them long, but he recorded this early version of "Hurry On Sundown" with them in 1969, and it was released as one of the bonus tracks when their debut album (which he hadn't played on) was remastered and released in 1996.

This is that 1969 version (not labeled as such on YouTube, but it has to be since it's a bit longer than the debut album track recorded after he left):
