18. I think you can lock it

In the rules on the About page it says :

# Lock thread (Reason not specified)
Locks a thread for an unspecified reason. An automatic notification will be dropped into the OP, but no reason for the lock will be provided. The thread can only be unlocked by the Host who locked it.

I think that would apply in this case. The group has precedent for locking contest threads on DU2 and I don't think this is much different from asking the mods to lock it.

Cannot edit, recommend, or reply in locked discussions
