3. "Hiding Places"?

I'm thinking of the time a wonderful photo was posted here of an interesting rock formation, and then another poster said it looked like a wonderful, fun place for a child to hide.

All the other little places in nature--holes and crevices in stumps and trees, ferns, tall grasses. Then when I see those photos of moss and mushrooms that people from the Northwest have posted , I can't help but think of fairies and gnomes. LOL

My brother has a small little pond and waterfall which he built right near his walkway. Lots of moss and small vegetation. When I walk by, suddenly I will hear "plop-splash"--it was frogs hiding in clear sight, totally camouflaged.

I think children and cats might be the true experts at finding hiding places, and sadly, the homeless .
