your remark reminds me of a story:
I had an employee who had created a sign with pool rules, at a time in the eighties when we did not yet use computers, and the letters were rubbed off onto transparencies. She worked 2 days on lines and lines of copy. I did not proof it, she made 10 bucks an hour and was usually reliable.
I set up a screen, and poured in the ink, and screened the first one onto aluminum.
All the lines were crooked.
I held it up in utter dismay to show her and she looked at it quizzically and then said with her deep drawl
"But isn't it a pretty color?"
