9. A long time ago

I went to sign conventions at the Long Beach convention center, 3 times actually, and each time we stayed on the Queen Mary. It's a Hyatt now.
The history, the art deco, the wood, the ambience, the tours of the sub-decks, my explorations into deep hidden areas (I am good at asking forgiveness but not permission) hold wonderful memories for me. I hope to return once more in this lifetime because unfortunately most of my photos were lost when my external hard drive broke. And I simply cannot afford the 1000 to 1200 bucks estimate to get the photos back.
As I'm typing this, I am remembering one more place where I might have saved some of them.
HMMMMM. Must go look!
