The first one, if you don't mind my saying so, could illustrate the book "Playground of the Damned".
It's ominous, daring in the use of the diagonal.
And the second one (how on earth did you get that with the varying degrees of focus?) is a similar incongruity with the "industrial moon". I like your scary mind.

There are abrupt changes in color/shade because the sensor isn't up to such gradual shifts.
